Waldensian Presbyterian Church

We worked with the Waldensian Presbyterian Church in Valdese, North Carolina to design a brand new playground and amphitheater.

As a team, we worked with the church to prioritize safety and inclusivity to foster a welcoming space for their community. Going into the design process, the church had concerns surrounding the liability of aged play equipment that had become a hazard. We are proud to have replaced everything on the playground with equipment and safety surfacing that is designed to meet all ASTM, CPSC, and CPSI safety standards. Not only did this increase public safety, but it also decreased annual maintenance.
